What is it?
The Youth Drug Education Conference (YDEC) is geared toward high school students in Jefferson County to become more informed on drug misuse topics and how to become part of the solution to keeping their peers from turning to drug use. We call this drug prevention. This conference is put on by the Jefferson County Teen Advisory Board (TAB) who are the youth portion of the Jefferson County Drug Prevention Coalition (JCDPC).
This conference will consist of different sessions and speakers from the local area and from around the country. Fun and learning are what this conference is all about along with food! We are trying to build youth as leaders in their community.

*All of this for only $25. Checks or cash can be mailed to the Jefferson County Health Department by October 19th with the parent/guardian consent form.
